Speakers will include:
Linda Leaks, member of GPMW steering committee and a co-founder of EmpowerDC is a community organizer with over 30 years experience of building movements for tenants and housing rights in the District; and
Roger Newell, a senior staff member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, has been active in the labor movement for over 25 years and works to further understanding the impacts of policies of globalization and structural adjustments on neighborhoods.
